Clients typically say pain is around a 3/10. Time is allocated to properly pre numb, and we can stop to numb throughout the procedure if necessary. Normal symptoms you may experience for up to 4 days: swelling, redness, tenderness and some dry flaking of the skin. There is no down time to this procedure you are able to go back to life as normal the same day. There are aftercare instructions and ointment given at your appointment.

There are a number of factors that influence what colour we choose. If you have a desired outcome or if you are unsure, I work with you to determine what will suit you. My goal is to get the most natural looking healed results. I like to work with the natural undertone colour of your lip tissue (if any is present) as a base and then push it towards your goal colour if that is possible. Whether you want something peach, pink, red, nude, or a combination, I can choose one colour or custom mix to create any colour.

The lip skin will be healed 5-7 days after your appointment. You can wear lip make up after 7 days. We allow for 6 weeks between your initial and top up appointment for the skin to fully heal and regenerate. 12 weeks between lip blush neutralisation for melanin rich lips as they heal differently.
